Ian Somerhalder (Damon) recently attended a convention in Paris where he revealed some fangtastic Season 3 details: Next time we see our Mystic Falls friends, they will be getting “back to the nitty gritty of the story.”
Yes, kids, it’s true: The original love triangle between Elena (Nina Dobrev), Stefan (Paul Wesley), and Ian’s character, Damon, will take center stage again come fall.
"We now understand where everything comes from," Ian explained —
meaning we learned that Klaus is a hybrid and the moonstone curse was a big ol’ crock —
so now we can go back to what really matters. (*cough* Damon and Elena hooking up *cough*)
Season 3 is also “gonna go back to how difficult things can be for a vampire," Ian said. Like how they can be madly in love with a human and simultaneously want to eat them for lunch?
But the juiciest part? Ian dishes, "You'll also see a lot about what happens between Damon and Elena... which could be really a lot!"
Best spoiler ever? We think yes!

Blake Lively (Serena) continues to deny that the naked pictures of her on the Internet are actually her, but that doesn’t mean some people don’t think the Gossip Girlstar is behind the entire thing. And by some people, we meanGirls Gone Wild jerk Joe Francis.
“I would say 90 percent it’s an orchestrated attempt or act on her part [to raise her profile],” Francis, tells HollywoodLife. “I’m not sure, but my inclination is that it’s coming from her. She knows what she’s doing or someone in her camp does.”
Francis cites other celeb sex tapes like Paris Hilton and Kim Kardashian as evidence. “Here’s the thing I’ve told all these girls about sex tapes and things like this: What people don’t understand is that you may go through a storm, but that storm is relatively short. And especially in the context of entire career or an entire life, you’re talking about a three-month or six-month controversy. People forget. People forget quickly.”

Not to Be Friends With Kardashians!

Poor Kim’s the odd sister out. Not only did she fail to wear animal print pumps to match her sisters’ footwear, there’s no hug for her.
Chelsea Handler might have to share the E! network with the Kardashians, but that doesn’t mean she wants to share her A-list friends with them!
"Jennifer [Aniston] said she saw the Kardashians at dinner last night," Handler told The Hollywood Reporter. "She was like, 'They're nice.' And I said: 'Don't get photographed with the Kardashians!' People will blame me for it!"
Um, okay? However, it’s hard to take anything Handler — who makes fun of celebrities as part of her job — to heart. But, in her defense, she did say she only takes jabs at people who "are acting irresponsibly or are making fools of themselves." Basically, if they’re asking for it, Handler’s gonna give it to ‘em!
We get that, but we don’t like this part. Handler says she won’t make fun of her friends on her show, because she’s “not going to be friends with [any celebrity] if they're idiots in the first place." Alright. We wouldn’t go as far as to call our little Kardashians idiots. Playful? Sure. Silly? Definitely. But idiots? No way! This is the family who pulled in $65 million last year, dahling. And it’s not like they’re like those ridiculous, criminal girls on Pretty Wild, that other show you helped produce...
Luckily for the KDashes and any other stars Handler slings mud at (which is anyone outside her social circle, obvi), the comedian’s contract is up in 2012, and after that, she plans to do something with a little more depth. Maybe.
"I want to do something that's going to utilize my brain a little more than this show," she says. "If Lately is the show that I'm going to do, it's going to change. But it may turn out that I'm done with it altogether. I can't keep doing the same thing; my brain is bleeding. I want to do something that's more mindful and isn't celebrity-centered.”
We would’ve believed her about wanting to get away from the gossip, but then she got in one last dig at the Kardashians, proving that making fun of A-Listers is definitely where her head’s at: “I'm not looking to totally bail on E! They've done a lot for me, and I like it here...if you take away the Kardashians."
Whatever, Chels. We like you, but we like them, too. Can’t everybody on E! just get along?
