I was gonna say you'd be a pretty sad bastard to go for a shirt only, but I'm sure if your buying something else and explain your situation, they'll oblige you.

Nice! Was it hard to make? Do you have any fillings in there? If it's even a bit loose, it may sway while carrying it and wood is pretty tough so it could get dents or scratches.

Do any of you guys know any programs for the mac that could tell me my CPU speed? Or if not, what is the typical temperature that the CPU throttles itself? Thanks!
Mac CPUs will throttle due to thermal issues just below the level where they will automatically shut down to prevent damage, which is around 100C/212F or 105C/221F, depending on which processor you have.

BTW... Add tax, for whereever most people are and you are most likely paying about $137-$138. I am doing a new one for $120 shipped.
Then make your own thread:D I dont think he will charge tax.

No problem with Snow Leopard here.
What software crashes.
Except I've had the same results on all the machines I've had that ran Snow Leopard.
MacBook Pro 2.33ghz Late 2006
MacBook Pro 13 2.26
Mac Mini 2.26
Mac Mini 2.4
MacBook Pro 2.66
It's been equally problematic on all of them.
Seems to be user problem. You probably have one piece of software that's causing the problem.

As for the meet up... bring your mom, some of us are probably the same age or older :D

A way to get 'around' the issue of the USB apple keyboards not working - buy a crappy, $10 PS/2 keyboard and plug that in. Put it behind your mac or somewhere unnoticable... then plug the USB keyboard into a USB slot and it should work...
That is if you get a PS/2 KVM which also has 2 USB ports...

Apple today announced (http://developer.apple.com/iphone/news/archives/december2009/#languagesupport) that it has rolled out support for six new languages and their corresponding localized App Stores for developers using iTunes Connect to submit their iPhone applications. With over 50 million users of iPhone and iPod touch in 81 countries around the world, it's more important than ever to make your app available in a user's language of choice. You can, and should, create localized versions of your app for each market you sell to. In iTunes Connect, you can customize your app's metadata, keywords and screenshots for each localized version. The newly-supported languages include:
- Brazilian Portuguese: Brazil App Store
- Korean: Korea App Store
- Portuguese: Portugal App Store
- Russian: Russia App Store
- Simplified Chinese: China App Store
- Swedish: Sweden App Store
A lack of localization for applications and their instructions have been cited among the many challenges (http://www.macrumors.com/2009/11/17/chinese-app-store-growing-amid-challenges/) faced by the App Store in China.

Is a shorten keyboard ideal to learn playing on? I see Garage Band has some lessons but I would imagine as a beginner, the last thing you want is to adjust knobs and sliders to move up/down the octaves.
I like the M-Audio Oxygen 25. Looks like a very compact but has a lot of features.
Any thoughts?

Darnit. I want to do this too, but I no longer have the Windows machines, only a 20-some megabyte outlook.pst file.
If you need help, PM me. I don't know how confidential your Outlook data is, but I could do quick export for you.

Dear ,
iTunes Connect will be temporarily shut down from Thursday, December 23 to Tuesday, December 28 for the winter holidays. Access will resume on Friday, December 29.
During this shutdown, iTunes Connect will be unavailable. In addition, app releases and pricing changes which are scheduled to take place during the shutdown will be handled as follows:
All releases will not appear in the App Store until Friday, December 29. This includes apps scheduled to appear on the App Store for the first time as well as updates to existing apps.
Pricing changes will cause the app to become unavailable for purchase until Friday, December 29, at which point the app will become available at the new price. Please check to ensure you have not scheduled any price changes during this time.
Regards,
The iTunes Connect Team

The screenshots are also too wide for a 1024 screen and a 80% width browser window.... :( Which is going to be a lot of PB and iBook users.
But I don't understand this whole "ugly guide" thing...isn't just sending the PM and not moving the guide at all enough?

Right, I have been wondering of getting lenscoats for my lenses (at least the ones that I can get them for), not for camouflage but for actual protection. I have seen them in action and sometime the lenses just take a hit or two and that neoprene neatly takes the hit. They make them in black which is what suits me best. BUT the question is does anyone else use them? Are there alternatives since they are pretty pricey and from the looks not quite 100% fitting.
Someone also suggested camo form tape which also absorbs the hits, albeit less so, but is a helluva lot cheaper.
input?
